1. Cruciate Knee Ligaments Mr R came for treatment in November 1999. He had torn the cruciate ligament in his right knee whilst training. The knee was very painful, swollen, and he could not move it. He had been prescribed anti-inflammatories, which he was reluctant to take. There was a long waiting list for surgery, which he was also nervous about. This would eventually be followed by physiotherapy. For the first week, he had daily anti-inflammatory pulsed electronic therapy. The swelling reduced considerably, and had gone completely, as had the pain, by halfway into the second week. This potentially false sense of security led to him wearing tubigrip bandage to protect the joint whilst walking, which he was doing gingerly by the end of week three. During week three we started the tissue re-growth boosting in the knee, alternating with anti-inflammatory treatment. By week five he was walking fairly normally, but with extreme care as he still experienced a twinge if he caught his toe on a kerbstone. Weeks six, seven and eight the treatment was three times a week. By the end of week eight, he was walking briskly, with the occasional jog for 50 yards. He then felt confident enough to visit the physiotherapist to bring the muscles and strength back. Virtually a full recovery (to the point where he could train seriously again) in eight weeks, with no surgery.
2. Eyes--Swollen and Inflamed In November Miss M stopped by the clinic, not for treatment but for business. However, her eyesight was almost down to nil and she was in a great deal of pain from both eyes, particularly her right eye. She had used a strong shampoo that morning, which had gone into her eyes and caused a reaction and a great deal of swelling--in fact the tear duct in her right eye resembled a thin slice of steak, and both eyeballs were very bloodshot. She also had a sharp prickling sensation under both eyelids. She was given some anti-inflammatory and painkilling treatment, expecting it to last for 40 minutes. However, after just 10 minutes, the prickly sensation had gone, and the pain was almost gone. The treatment was stopped after 30 minutes as she was completely recovered--no pain, no swelling. And there was no sign of any bloodshot--both eyeballs were healthy and completely white!
3. Frozen Shoulder Miss T was on a flying visit in August 1999. She had a 'frozen' right shoulder, as she called it, and had been in pain with it for weeks. A scan showed an energy blockage across the back of her neck and a similar pain grouping about to appear around her left shoulder. As she only had 20 minutes before rushing on, she was given 10 minutes treatment on her right shoulder and 10 minutes treatment on her neck. The pain did not go straight away, but she felt some 'warmth' during treatment. Two weeks later, another flying visit. She confirmed that the pain in her shoulder had gone by the following day and had not returned. (And still has not).
4. Hearing returned to Normal Mrs C had one treatment from the clinic on Saturday March 25th 2000 at the Natural Healing Show in Brentwood and was being treated for migraines, though she had mentioned that "her hearing had been cloudy for a long time". After some time a loud "Oh!" was heard from the clinic's chair on the stand. She exclaimed that her ears had popped, and that she could hear clearly. Next day I checked to see if everything was still OK. She had had an ache in the ear that had been more cloudy, but her hearing was now crystal clear, as was her head! An almost identical story has just been repeated with a second client, with loss of hearing completely restored in two treatments!!!
5. Infertility
Case Number 1--December 1999 At the beginning of December 1999, Mrs K came to see the clinic after a long discussion with her husband. They had one child, aged 5, and wanted another. When they had been trying for the first child, Mrs K had been told that, not only did she have polycystic ovaries, but that the whole of one fallopian tube and half of the other fallopian tube were blocked. She conceived their first child after receiving IVF treatment. Now she had been told that both of her fallopian tubes were blocked, and that the polycystic ovaries were still the same. Her first treatment was over her abdomen. She did not return to the clinic until well after the Christmas and Millenium break. But, at the Christmas, she had had a period. This period had been the very first that she could remember in years where her bleeding had been normal, and she had had no pain whatsoever. And this was after only one electronic treatment. So over to her husband for the next stage!
Case Number 2--July 2000
6. Inflamed Bursa of the Hip November 1999. Mrs M had had a very painful right hip for three years. It had been diagnosed as a severely inflamed bursa, and no treatment, including anti-inflammatories and ultrasound, could move it. After a scan identified the energy problem around the hip, she was given some pulsed electronic treatment. After 10 minutes the pain had gone. Mrs M reported back that she could now roll on the floor with her kids, sleep on her side etc for the first time in three years. But a couple of weeks later she rode a motorcycle game in an arcade, and the pain returned. Again, after 10 minutes of treatment, the pain disappeared, and to this date has not reappeared.
7. Arterial Ulcer Mr H, who came to the clinic in 2001 in desperation with an arterial ulcer on the side of his ankle. His GP, and the nurses there, had tried every conventional treatment, covering the ulcer in the latest dressings, but none worked. It remained open and very sore, set against his blue lower limb. (Both lower limbs were blue, as he had been a plasterer for many years, the standing having had a bad detrimental effect on the circulation in his legs). I treated him by stimulating the circulation in his upper legs and calves, and treating the ulcer directly for an hour with the optical unit. He had a total of four treatments, and during each one, the ulcer visibly dried and the tissue improved at the edges. After the four treatments, his skin was better than it had been for years, and to this date (June 2002) he has had no deterioration in his leg, nor any re-occurrence of the ulcer. He used no other medication to treat the ulcer.
8. Diabetes May 2002. Mr N came to see me, having been a non-insulin-dependant diabetic sufferer for a number of years, since suddenly developing pancreatitis (which occurred after starting to wear his new mobile phone clipped to his belt over his pancreas). His problem was that his condition was worsening - in fact his sugar level had not dropped below 13 for two weeks. I used the highest frequencies available on his pancreas. That evening, (after the first treatment that afternoon) I received this email:-
