The Manorgrove Clinic--Frequently Asked Questions

Can I overdose on this treatment?

Definitely not! The body appears to take what 'energy' it needs in that session, and no more. This can be seen, for example, by a cooling off of an area after it has warmed up. Each appointment with me is for an hour, which gives you 40 to 50 minutes of treatment, allowing time for you to be set up with the equipment. However, in my experience, the body has taken what it needs in 10 to 40 minutes of treatment.

What effect does the treatment have?

For many patients  the immediate effect is to experience a slight warm glow near the crystals, but this does not always happen. Sometimes the patient falls asleep during treatment, while the body absorbs the energy from the equipment. The effect on your symptoms can occur over quite a variation in time. Some people experience an immediate drop in pain, for example, within 10 minutes of the treatment starting. Other patients see no improvement for 24 or 48 hours. With long term chronic cases such as Multiple Sclerosis, or a cancer, then gradual improvements are seen over the course of the treatment. These I try to measure objectively, for example frequency of eating.

How long is a course of treatment?

This really does vary, depending on the patient and the problem. A simple case of pain in an area of the body--for example, caused by a fall, might be improved dramatically in one or two treatments. Longer term treatments to provide relief from chronic conditions such as osteo- or rheumatoid- arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis etc  will obviously require a longer term approach. I always discuss the length of treatment as part of the initial meeting, and at subsequent reviews as necessary. My current average is between 2 and 4 treatments, for all but the most severe chronic illnesses.
